The administrative services are responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing annual and multi-year human resources management plans;
  • Monitoring the careers of the Center’s personnel;
  • Preparing and maintaining a directory of national competencies in the center’s field of activity;
  • Ensuring proper management and maintenance of the Center’s movable and immovable assets;
  • Managing associated researchers and visiting staff administratively;
  • Managing and promoting social activities for the Center’s personnel;
  • Developing and implementing continuous training, professional development, and retraining plans for the Center’s personnel and staff from similar institutions;
  • Preparing the operational and equipment budget and ensuring its execution after approval;
  • Maintaining the Center’s accounting records;
  • Ensuring the provision of operational resources to the Center’s units;
  • Maintaining inventory registers;
  • Preserving and maintaining the Center’s archives.

The Secretary-General coordinates the activities of the following administrative services:

  • Finance and Accounting Service
  • Human Resources Service
  • General Services

Technical Department: Testing and Measurements

The department is responsible for:

  • Composition and formulation studies based on supplied aggregates;
  • Tests on concrete and mortar components (fresh and hardened);
  • Tests on materials and products such as stone, soil, floor coverings, and waterproofing;
  • Static, cyclic, thermal (fire), and creep tests on structural elements at reduced or full scale;
  • Determination of mechanical properties of steel;
  • Quality control tests of materials;
  • Measurement of thermal conductivity of various materials;
  • Determination of thermal properties of building envelopes;
  • Measurement of acoustic absorption coefficients of various materials and components;
  • Measurement of domestic and airborne noise levels;
  • Development of testing protocols;
  • Assisting research teams in data acquisition and measurements.

The Testing and Measurements Department includes three (03) services:

  • Maintenance Service
  • Instrumentation Service
  • Testing and Services Service

Department of Valorization and Scientific & Technical Information

The department is responsible for:

  • Organizing specialized training cycles in the Center’s field of expertise;
  • Promoting scientific and technical information within the Center’s scope of activity;
  • Implementing an appropriate system for the preservation of the Center’s scientific archives;
  • Proposing measures to integrate the Center’s scientific publications into a virtual library;
  • Proposing and implementing measures to promote and valorize scientific research results in collaboration with relevant institutions;
  • Managing and maintaining the Center’s IT networks and equipment;
  • Acquiring and developing software programs;
  • Acquiring IT equipment;
  • Providing staff training in IT.

The Department of Valorization and Scientific & Technical Information comprises four (04) services:

  • Valorization and Training Service
  • Information and Technological Watch Service
  • IT Service
  • Project Management Service
