Presentation
The Technical Appraisal (Avis Technique) is an informational document of a technical nature concerning the suitability for use and in-service performance of a construction system, product, or new process used in the building sector. This appraisal is issued to an applicant after the review of a file by a researcher who has conducted all necessary tests and gathered all available evaluation elements before presenting them to the Specialized Group responsible for issuing an opinion. The procedures for issuing Technical Appraisals are defined by the decree of May 15, 1988, relating to the approval process for new products or processes used in construction.
